PolyX PU24 (Ultra) is our highest performing product made up of 2 x 8mm bubble with a Thermal break foil in between. This is the only product in Australia with 3 layers of reflective surfaces. Nothing else comes close to insulating against heat, cold and noise.
Coming with a 15 year warranty, PolyX PU24 is comprised of multi pure aluminum foils incorporated onto two double 8mm thermo cellular (Fire Retardant) polyethylene bubbles, with inner foil and superior heat ressitance in each bubbles structure. With high performance copper aluminum foil on top side, and silver aluminum foil on bottom side, including 18 microns aluminum and reinforced net.

Is PolyX PU24 compliant in all states?
Yes, PolyX PU24 meets all relevant Australian regulations and standards in all states.
PU24 complies with AS/NZS 4859 1&2 2018. Thermal resistance measurement: 0.413 m2 K/W. Reflective performances of PU24 (tested to ASTM E 408): Aluminum silver side = 97%, Copper antiglare side = 95% reflection of radiant heat.

What R-Value can PolyX PU24 achieve?
PU24 adds to a Total R-Value (system R value). The effective R value in a system depends on the installation and environmental conditions. The R-Value may be affected or reduced due to dust on upward facing surfaces or as a result of ventilation.
PU24 product can achieve several Total R-Values depending on the installation method, cavity depth, cavity design and other building components used in the system.
